Designer babies.

 In present time, scientist could eliminate genetic disease in embryos by carrying out Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD). PGD is applicable in both cases; single-gene disorders and chromosomal disorders. Mutation occurs at chromosomal stage might happen numerically (i.e. aneuploidy)  or structurally (i.e. inversions or translocations) .Initially, the embryo is cultured by in vitro fertilization (IVF) (Dickens, 2004). One cell is taken right after the embryo has reached eight-cell stage on day 3 (Spar, 2006). The remaining cells are let to be cultured in order to replace the missing cells. The extracted cells are being scanned for any genetic faults using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) (A. Taei Et Al., 2010 ; Huxman,2003). When the genetic disease is detected, the non-infected DNA is transferred on the uterus wall in hope of normal baby would be born (Huxman,2003).

Scientists are concern about the arising of babies with requested traits. Designing newborn babies is a new field in which we could modify any desired genetic contained in embryo before being implanted on the uterus wall. The new technic of Zinc Finger Nucleases (ZFN)  is found to allow editing or cutting out the gene at specific target.  ZFN is the custom-made protein which is made up of Zinc Finger Protein (ZFP) and FokI.  FokI is the type IIs restriction endonuclease originated from a bacteria called Flavobacterium okeanokoites. The FokI consists of two domain sites which are N-terminal (non-specified) and C-terminal (specified). The ZFP cleaves with the unspecified domain site of the FokI while the specified domain recognizes the DNA binding domain and designed to mark and break the double-helix strand of DNA. As a result, it stimulates the cell’s natural DNA-repair processes.

This technology is then makes use of the DNA repair process to alter the sequence in order to produce a new undamaged DNA by homology-directed repair of the DNA. The alteration is achievable by introducing the external DNA template repair. It would then replace the targeted gene and permanently alter the genome structure by insertion or deletion of mutation ( Durau, et. al., 2005).

A case is proven to be successful when The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Sangamo Biosciences had carried out the ZFN method on eukaryotic cells of a mice via microinjection in its embryo. It happened to delete a gene which gives rise to the fluorescent colour of the mice’s body (Sigma, 2009). The limitation of the ZFN is the flexibility to bind to different site of DNA. It is highly depends on the sequence designed in the laboratories. A lot of researches need to be done in order for ZFN to cleave to any site on the desired DNA segment ( Durau, et. al., 2005).

Genetic modification is an advance in science and should not be rejected entirely. Based on transhumanist, it is a great opportunity to upgrade human conditions and as part of human’s revolution in regards with the advancement of technology (Bostrom,2003). However,  human is a complex creature. Scientists have to consider numerous unknown side effects in contemplating to design a baby. A study on mice had shown that even the genetic at running maize is improvised, but the adverse effect is the mice experienced hyper-sensitivity to pain. This is because multiple genes which are hard to unravel are responsible to confer one particular trait. Therefore, even genes are modified wholly according to the desired genes, the child traits are still in ambiguity (Steinbock,2008).

Benar wahai saudaraku aku juga sama pegangan dengan mu bahwa mereka tiada mempunyai kekuasaan apa-apa. Tetapi sedikit perbedaan aku dengan dirimu, kerana aku lebih senang menziarahi mereka krn bagiku mereka tetap hidup dalam membangkitkan jiwa yang mati ini kepada CINTA Tuhan.

Tapi aku juga heran, kenapa engkau tiada melarang aku menziarahi ahli dunia, mereka juga tiada kuasa apa2 .
Malah mematikan hati..
Yang hidupnya mereka bagiku spt mayat yang berjalan. Kediaman mereka adalah pusara yang tiada membangkitkan jiwa pada cinta Tuhan.

Kematian dan kehidupan disisi Allah adalah jiwa. Banyak mereka yang dilihat hidup tapi sebenarnya mati, banyak mereka yang dilihat mati tapi sebenarnya hidup, banyak yang menziarahi pusara terdiri dari orang yang mati sedangkan dalam pusara itulah orang yang hidup.

Aku lebih senang menziarahi maqam kekasih Allah dan para syuhada walaupun hanya pusara, tetapi ia mengingatkan aku akan kematian kerena ia mengingatkan aku bahwa hidup adalah perjuangan. Krn aku dapat melihat jiwa mereka ada kuasa cinta yang hebat sehingga mereka di Cintai oleh TuhanNya lantaran Kebenarannya cinta.

Wahai saudarakuku ziarah maqam Aulia, krn pada maqam mereka ada cinta, lantaran Cinta Allah pada mereka seluruh tempat persemadian mereka diCintai Allah.
Cinta tiada mengalami kematian, ia tetap hidup dan terus hidup dan akan melimpah kepada para pencintanya. Aku berziarah krn sebuah cinta mengambil semangat mereka agar aku dapat mengikut mereka dalam mujahadahku mengangkat tangan disisi maqam mereka bukan meminta kuasa dari mereka, akan tapi memohon kepada Allah agar aku juga diCintai Allah, sebagaimana mereka diCintai Allah.

If you feel the same way, feeling depressed etc, you're not alone. Surely, life is a test. Seek help from your family, friends and most importantly Allah. Be strong, hang in there 

And to "lucky" people out there, be more concern to others. Open your heart and lend a helping hand.

4. Dua orang yang berkasih sayang antara satu sama lain semata-mata kerana Allah. Mereka bertemu kerana Allah, dan berpisah kerana Allah.
5. Lelaki yang digoda oleh wanita bangsawan yang jelita, lalu dia berkata," Sesungguhnya saya takut kepada Allah!"
6. Seorang yang memberi sedekah secara bersembunyi sehingga tangan kirinya tidak mengetahui sedekah yang diberikan oleh tangan kanannya.

Abdullah bin Amr bin al-‘Ash Radhiyallahu Anhuma bertutur, Aku mendengar Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam bersabda : 

Sesungguhnya Allah Azza wa Jalla tidak menghilangkan ilmu (keislaman) dengan cara mencabutnya dari dada umat manusia, ttapi Allah menghilangkn ilmu (keislaman) dengan cara mewafatkan para ulama, sehingga tidak ada seorang ulamapun yang tertinggal. Kemudian orang- orang mengangkat pemimpin yang bodoh. Ketika mereka bertanya, lalu mereka berfatwa tanpa ilmu, sehingga mereka tersesat dan menyesatkan.

Siapa yang betul?

Di saat ketiadaan Rasulullah, kdg kdg aku dilema. Yg mana betul Rasulullah? Siapakah satu golongan mu yg benar Rasulullah?

Di saat semua mengatakan mereka lah yg di paksi kebenaran? "Tiada yg lain! Ini jalannya!"

Benarkah ya Rasulullah? Betulkah jalan ini? Bagaimana harus ku pimpin hatiku? Ke mana?

Aku cemburu dgn mu. Hati kau bersih. Kau sukakan kebaikan. Walhal aku, terlalu dambakan kejahilan. Kau dkt dgn Allah. Malah, kau kekasihNya.

Aku? Hanyalah hamba yg cetek pengetahuannya. Berbolak hatinya. Lemah imannya. Berbagai titik hitamnya.

Rasulullah, adakah dgn ketidakhadiranku pada satu jalan yg ku tak pasti hala tujunya menolak ku jatuh ke gaung neraka?

Adakah jihad dalam pelajaranku tidak beerti padamu?

Dunia ini terlalu banyak persoalan nya. Terlalu banyak jalan likunya. Terlalu banyak asap kelabunya

Apa yg pasti, aku ingin bertemu mu Rasulullah. Aku rindu padamu. Rindu pada Allah.

Jika usaha ku, niat ku, cara ku, tidak kau rahmati, tidak kau sukai, tidak kau berkati, maka ampunkan aku ya Allah, ya Rasulullah.

Sesungguhnya, aku tersangat lemah. Jiwaku, hatiku, imanku, semangatku.

Why does Allah forbid to eat pigs in Islam?

Why Pork is Haram in Islam ~ 15 Things You Should Know About Pigs:

1) A pig is a real garbage gut. It will eat anything including urine, excrement, dirt, decaying animal flesh, maggots, or decaying vegetables. They will even eat the cancerous growths off other pigs or animals.

2) The meat and fat of a pig absorbs toxins like a sponge. Their meat can be 30 times more toxic than beef or venison.

3) When eating beef or venison, it takes 8 to 9 hours to digest the meat so what little toxins are in the meat are slowly put into our system and can be filtered by the liver. But when pork is eaten, it takes only 4 hours to digest the meat. We thus get a much higher level of toxins within a shorter time.

4) Unlike other mammals, a pig does not sweat or perspire. Perspiration is a means by which toxins are removed from the body. Since a pig does not sweat, the toxins remain within its body and in the meat.

5) Pigs and swine are so poisonous that you can hardly kill them with strychnine or other poisons.

6) Farmers will often pen up pigs within a rattlesnake nest because the pigs will eat the snakes, and if bitten they will not be harmed by the venom.

7) When a pig is butchered, worms and insects take to its flesh sooner and faster than to other animal's flesh. In a few days the swine flesh is full of worms.

8) Swine and pigs have over a dozen parasites within them, such as tapeworms, flukes, worms, and trichinae. There is no safe temperature at which pork can be cooked to ensure that all these parasites, their cysts, and eggs will be killed.

9) Pig meat has twice as much fat as beef. A 3 oz T bone steak contains 8.5 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork chop contains 18 grams of fat. A 3 oz beef rib has 11.1 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork spare rib has 23.2 grams of fat.

10) Cows have a complex digestive system, having four stomachs. It thus takes over 24 hours to digest their vegetarian diet causing its food to be purified of toxins. In contrast, the swine's one stomach takes only about 4 hours to digest its foul diet, turning its toxic food into flesh.

11) The swine carries about 30 diseases which can be easily passed to humans. This is why God commanded that we are not even to touch their carcase (Leviticus 11:8).

12) The trichinae worm of the swine is microscopically small, and once ingested can lodge itself in our intestines, muscles, spinal cord or the brain. This results in the disease trichinosis. The symptoms are sometimes lacking, but when present they are mistaken for other diseases, such as typhoid, arthritis, rheumatism, gastritis, MS, meningitis, gall bladder trouble, or acute alcoholism.

13) The pig is so poisonous and filthy, that nature had to prepare him a sewer line or canal running down each leg with an outlet in the bottom of the foot. Out of this hole oozes pus and filth his body cannot pass into its system fast enough. Some of this pus gets into the meat of the pig.

14) According to Jewish law, pork is one of a number of foods forbidden from consumption by Jews. These foods are known as "non-kosher" foods. In order for a meat to be kosher, it must first come from a kosher animal. A kosher animal must be a ruminant and have split hooves - therefore cows, sheep, goats and deer are all kosher, whereas camels and pigs (having each only one sign of kashrut) are not kosher.

15) Quran, Holy book of Muslims also prohibits consumption of pork.

"He has made unlawful for you that which dies of itself and blood and the flesh of swine and that on which the name of any other than Allah has been invoked. But he who is driven by necessity, being neither disobedient nor exceeding the limit, then surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful." Quran 2:173


I cannot understand why anyone would eat it. You might as well vacuum all day and then take the vacuum bag and make a nice soup out of it.

" Of course our Creator has given us the health laws through the Holy Quran and not eating pigs is even CLEARLY mentioned in the Bible (Leviticus 11:07) 

But some humans think they are more intelligent than the Creator so they choose to follow their own desires and live a very painful and troublesome filled life.

Then why pigs exist? Like flies, they have the jobs of "cleaning" the Earth. Allah has made them filthy and ignoble the way they are on purpose. Like sewage pipes, we value their existence but certainly not going to drink the water out of it. ALLAHUAKBAR.
